From 1985: this is an overall excellent condition copy of the October 1985 issue of Record magazine featuring Bruce Springsteen on the cover. There isn't any Springsteen article or anything, he's just on the cover as Record's poster boy for this special "Music in America issue. Magazine is 58 pages and in very good shape. All inner pages are fine, and in excellent, well-preserved shape. The Cover shows show wear along the spine, and a little wear in general is visible on the top right edge area of cover as well, but rather slight. But that's about it, no bends, folds, stains, or tears. The magazine features the following articles and features:

1. 9 page article on Music in America spotlighting different major cities.
2. 3 page article/review and pics on X's (Exene, John Doe, Billy Zoom) Ain't Love Grand album
3. 2 page article and pics on Live Aid "Whose Benefit?"
4. 3 page article and nice pics on Thompson Twins
5. full page ad for Paul Young's The Secret of Association album
6. full page ad for Weird Al Yankovic's "Compleat Al" Video
7. 1 + page interview "Chattting with" Van Morrison
Magazine has many other article/features, and reviews of albums, equipment, and etc... Includes short articles on Jerry Lee Lewis, Rick James, Billy Joel, The Hooters (w/pic), Tina Turner (w/pic); and others as well. Overall, this is a very well-preserved and fresh looking copy of Record magazine.
